The 2010 World Economic Forum “Global Enabling Trade Report” index ranks Tunisia 2 nd in Africa and1 st in the Maghreb. Tunisia is in 38 th position in the world out of a total of 121 countries gaining 3 places since 2009 , when it was ranked 41th out of 121countries.

The 2010 WEF Global Enabling Trade Report which was published on May 19, gauges and analyzes, policies and services enabling trade in national economies around the world including market access, customs administration, infrastructure and communication and commercial environment.

The exemption within the framework of the final return is granted to the vehicles which age at their entry in Tunisia is:

  • Less than or equal to 3 years for the private vehicles.
  • Less than or equal to 5 years for the commercial vehicles (that's to say for the vehicles intended for the carriage of goods) whose gross weight does not exceed 3,5 tons including the off-road vehicles
