Carthage, September 1, 2010 - President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali focused attention when receiving, on Wednesday, Industry and Technology Minister Afif Chelbi on development of the industrial situation, during the past period, on enterprises’ guidance and consolidation of their competitiveness.

The 2010 World Economic Forum “Global Enabling Trade Report” index ranks Tunisia 2 nd in Africa and1 st in the Maghreb. Tunisia is in 38 th position in the world out of a total of 121 countries gaining 3 places since 2009 , when it was ranked 41th out of 121countries.
The 2010 WEF Global Enabling Trade Report which was published on May 19, gauges and analyzes, policies and services enabling trade in national economies around the world including market access, customs administration, infrastructure and communication and commercial environment.
